My art project was based on multiple subjects we learned throughout our semester. First I began with the art aspect. While going through the multiple paintings from different artists I was intrigued by one in particular which was “Eye” painted by Escher. I chose to make the skeleton head that was seen inside the eye the main focus of my painting. Each skull had an eye that was drawn on the right side. The eye that was drawn was to represent our perception which was a common theme while studying Quantum theory. To give my art project a twist, I chose to incorporate an Andy Warhol feel to my art project with the background being a contrasting colour to the skulls. Each colour that the skull heads and the backgrounds were painted represented colours that were seen while doing a specific lab, which was the flame test lab. Finally, I did not want to leave the background blank so I drew a symbol that is easily related and recognized in science which was Rutherford’s atomic model.
